This trail, about the life and work of Joachime Barrande, offers a chance to take an educational trip into the picturesque Berounka valley. It combines an educational walk in and around Skryje with a boat cruise along the Skryje – Roztoky route near Křivoklát, which takes roughly three hours. During the journey you will see the famous palaeontologist at existing geological sites, where they are put into context with the development of human knowledge (i.e. not biographical details, which are available in the museum in Skryje, for example). The whole trail takes one day.
